I worked on marion jones'article...
I only summed up it, I'll try to go on....
This document, entitled "Marion Jones stunned the athletic word", is a press article, from the Daily News, published in October 11th 2007.
Through Marion Jones' disgrace, we are made aware of performance enhancing drugs, by Dinesh Weerawansa.
Indeed, whereas Marion Jones is a superstar of athletic sport since 2000 Summer Olympic Games, sport's world discovered she used drugs to improve her performances.
As we can read on line 10: 'Jones is an athlete who had run from grace to disgrace.
But, she's not the only one, concerned by this problem.
Dinesh Weerawansa cites 2 other athletes: Ben Jonhson and Diego Maradona.
Therefore, all sport's class know doping.
Few years ago, media focused our attention on cycle racing.
Few weeks ago, a tennisman might take crack before an important match.
Although the world sports officials keep a vigilant eye, as explains the journalist, performance enhancing drugs are still relevant today.
To my mind, sport has nothing to win by using drugs... maybe, only money, so long as athletes are not released.
But scientists said, it was dangerous for health...
Recently, we heard about Bernard Hinault's disorder.
Most of journalists said it may be a consequence of a very important use of drugs...
But, doping gives a wrong image of sport.
And we have to protect our children.
A lot of athletes are superstars, and children may do as they do.
We have to be vigilant as parents and as teachers.
To my mind, school can play a role with health education and sport's practices.
Pupils must understand, it's important to take care of their health and their body.
Sport is a way to give the better of one-self, a way to surpass one-self.
Drugs are only a way to win.
